Working under the design direction of wHY Architecture, CFL worked with the Worcester Art Museum in the final phases of construction assisting with coordination & implementation of the Salisbury Street Pedestrian Bridge. As noted by Kulapat Yantrasast, Founder & Creative Director at wHY, ‘the “bridge” not only significantly improves access, it boldly combines contemporary design with the Museum’s 1933 Beaux-Arts exterior.’
In addition to management services, CFL connected WAM with Goetz Composites of Bristol, RI to manufacture the cylindrical, glowing lens the bridge gently 'rests' on. Referencing wHY’s design drawings CFL produced working drawings for fabrication, digitally scanned the installation area to ensure proper fit & developed a prototype to confirm design intent.
